'Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational' for Vita adds multiplayer modes
"Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational" adds multiplayer modes.
The latest update for Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational on PlayStation Vita adds new multiplayer modes, according to the PlayStation Blog.
Previously players could only participate in public Real Mode tournaments. New options in the update – live now via the PlayStation Network – include creating private lobby rooms and tournaments for up to eight players, as well as text chat via the scorecard screen.
New modes include Stroke Mode, in which two players compete for the best score and can chat between holes, and a Match Mode that awards the first player to achieve 3UP status during a round. Real Mode tournaments now feature online rankings and the number of Daily Tournaments has been bumped down from three to one.
Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational released as a launch title for the PlayStation Vita in February.
