High Moon debuted the trailer at Comic-Con 2012.

The footage features plenty of Autobots and Decepticons beating each other up in Cybertron, and also shows off the character customization system that High Moon Studios creative director Matt Tieger expects players to spend hours upon hours inside. At a Comic-Con multiplayer press event that Polygon attended, Tieger focused on the mode's slider for metallic luster, which offers a spectrum from matte to a chrome-like shine.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on August 21st in North America and August 24th in the UK.
