Sony Europe and Birmingham City University team up for scholarship program
Sony Europe teams up with Birmingham City University to offer its four Game Camp students scholarships.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is partnering with Birmingham City University to offer its Gamer Camp program students a chance at scholarships and a job with Sony, according to GamesIndustry.
For the second year in a row, Sony is offering the PlayStation Academic Scholarships program to the university's game development students. Four students have the chance to earn scholarships that will pay half their Gamer Camp fees and one student will be offered a six-month paid role at one of Sony's studios.
"Access to Sony development hardware, experienced industry support and these PlayStation Academic Scholarships provides Gamer Camp students with an unparalleled educational opportunity," Gamer Camp co-founder Guy Wilday told GamesIndustry.
Interested students can sign up for Gamer Camp until August 9th.
