'Anomaly: Warzone Earth' coming to PlayStation Network late summer

"Anomaly: Warzone Earth" strategy game coming to PlayStation Network before summer's end.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth, a top-down real-time strategy game from 11 bit studios, is coming to PlayStation Network late this summer according to the PlayStation Blog.

Anomaly is a tower-defense-style game in which players must stop the extraterrestrial invasion of Baghdad. Rather than preparing defenses and setting traps for oncoming opponents, players manage their own mobile units and lead the offensive attack. Players directly control the troops' Commander and have access to special actions, like the ability to heal wounded units and deploy smoke screens to provide cover.

Two Commanders can also rally their units together via local co-op on the PlayStation 3. One player controls armored units while the other plans assaults via the game's Tactical View feature.
