'Dead Island' developer files 'Dead Stop' trademark for mobile and portable platforms
Dead Island developer techland trademarks a new mobile and handheld title called Dead Stop.
Dead Island developer, Techland, recently filed a trademark for Dead Stop, a game product for mobile and portable devices.
As spotted by Siliconera, the trademark filed in the United States is classed specifically for "entertainment services and providing an online game via an application for mobile phones and other electronic apparatus."
This follows Techland's announcement of Dead Island Riptide earlier in June, which is described as an upcoming entry in the Dead Island franchise that will release on PC and consoles.
No details or release date are currently available for Dead Stop.
