'Max Payne 3: Local Justice' DLC update comes to PC August 9th

Max Payne 3 DLC coming to PC gamers.

The Max Payne 3's "Local Justice" DLC update will be available for PC August 9th, Rockstar Games announced today.

This update will include three new maps for Max Payne 3 multiplayer, as well as the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction.

Max Payne 3 PC users will also be able to access all the pre-order and retail downloadable content, including the Cemetery Multiplayer Map, Silent Killer Loadout Pack, Pill Bottle Item, Deadly Force Burst and the Classic Max Payne 1 Character.

The Max Payne 3 Special Edition Pack is also currently available for Xbox 360 users for 160 Microsoft Points and on PS3 for $1.99. This Special Edition Pack includes the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack featuring eight playable multiplayer characters including fan favorites Mona Sax, Vladimir Lem and Max from Max Payne 2, as well as the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack. This will later become available on the PlayStation Network in North America this afternoon, while PlayStation Network users in Europe will be able to download it Wednesday. It will be available to PC users along with the Local Justice launch on August 9th.

Those with the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass will receive these packs for free. The Rockstar Pass is available in the in-game store for $29.99 or 2,400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE.
