'NiGHTS into Dreams' HD remake teased by Sega with new picture
Sega may be releasing an HD remake of the 1996 Sega Saturn title NiGHTS into Dreams.
Flight-based platformer NiGHTS into Dreams may be in for an HD update, according to an image teased on the official Sega Facebook page.
The image, which features a giant metal crane in the center of a desert, is believed to depict NiGHTS' Stick Canyon, the sixth chapter in the title.
NiGHTS into Dreams was first released for Sega Saturn in 1996 before receiving a Japanese release to PlayStation 2 in 2008. A sequel, titled NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams was developed for the Wii and released in North America in 2007.
Sega is simultaneously in the process of developing an HD version of the classic Jet Set Radio for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, scheduled for later this year.
