'Halo' developer Bungie teaming up with Paul McCartney
The former Beatle is getting into gaming with a new Bungie project.
Halo developer Bungie is teaming up with former Beatle Paul McCartney to develop music for an unknown project, it was confirmed on the songwriter's official Twitter account.
"I'm really excited to be working on writing music with @bungie, the studio that made Halo," he tweeted alongside an image of McCartney with veteran Bungie composer Marty O'Donnell.
According to a 2010 document revealed as part of a lawsuit between Activision and former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella, Bungie's next game Destiny is scheduled to launch next Fall on Xbox 360 as well as the upcoming Xbox console.
Bungie also signed to developed four "sci-fantasy, action shooter games" in the Destiny universe every other year until 2019.
