'Assassin's Creed 3' PC delay confirmed, launching November 23rd in UK

Assassin's Creed 3 release to be delayed on PC.

The launch of Assassin's Creed 3 for PC will be delayed, Ubisoft confirmed today in a press release, which places its launch in North America on November 20th and in the United Kingdom on November 23rd.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the upcoming Assassin's installment will arrive on October 31st in Europe and October 30th in North America. A Wii U version will also follow, available at the new console's launch.

Last month Ubisoft creative lead Alex Hutchinson stated the PC launch would be delayed past the release date of its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Ubisoft later reported the PC version was still slated for its October release.

Ubisoft previously delayed the release of PC version of Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. The former was delayed by half a month, while the latter was released in March of 2011 after the November 2010 release of its console version.
