The man in this question is protagonist Wei Shen; because he's an undercover cop, it's even more difficult for him to stay a "good man" and stay alive at the same time. It probably doesn't help that he's constantly racing into dangerous situations and performing death-defying feats like jumping between cars, action showcased in the trailer below.

Sleeping Dogs will be out on Tuesday, August 14th, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
