'Dead or Alive 5' developers talk about the evolution of their fighting game

Team Ninja, the development team behind Dead or Alive 5, talked openly about the development of their upcoming fighting game in the first episode of a series titled Fighting Chronicles.

Team Ninja, the development team behind Dead or Alive 5, talked openly about the development of their upcoming fighting game in the first episode of a series titled Fighting Chronicles.

The episode shows in-game footage of Dead or Alive 5 as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the game undergoing its early stages of development.

Members from Team Ninja make an appearance on camera talking about the development process of the game, including Yosuke Hayashi (producer), Yuta Saito (art director), Yohei Shimbori (director), and Yasunori Sakuda (engineering manager).

The developers talk about the new direction that they are taking the Dead or Alive series, describing how they are making it more accessible and the concept of "fighting entertainment".

Dead or Alive 5 will be released September 25th, 2012 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
