Halo 4's new "Prelude" video goes behind scenes at developer 343 Industries as it creates its first foray into the Halo universe.
Set to Halo-esque orchestration, "Prelude" is a montage staring Halo 4's production team. Composers, musicians, actors, and foley artists all receive cameos as the video conveys the evolution of the game from conception to reality. "Prelude" tells the story visually, as concept art fades to in-game environments, and the script is written, revised, acted, and shown in the game itself.
Halo 4 is locked for a November 6th release on Xbox 360. Earlier this week, Halo 4 Spartan Ops designer David Ellis revealed eight "Specializations," an armor-based feature new to the franchise's multiplayer.
You can familiarize yourself with the 343 team by watching the "Prelude" video below.
