XCOM: Enemy Unknown shows the many ways you can die in the upcoming entry of the fantastic series.

"Casualties of War," the latest trailer for the upcoming Firaxis Games-developed XCOM: Enemy Unknown, offers a look at the soldier units who inevitably become casualties of the alien invasion.

Like in previous entries in the XCOM series, users will be given a squad of soldiers at the beginning of the campaign who will be trained, equipped with new technology, and advance in skill. However, if they fall in combat they are lost forever.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is scheduled to release October 9th in North America, for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
