'Animal Crossing: Jump Out' coming to Japan November 8th (Update: North America in 2013)

Animal Crossing: Jump Out, the first entry in the series on the 3DS, is slated for a November 8th launch in Japan, Nintendo announced today.

No European or North American release date is available yet.

The company showcased the game in its Nintendo Direct presentation this morning, explaining new features such as the ability to customize houses and take in-game photos of the player character in a standee of Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Jump Out will also see the debut of a gardening store.

Nintendo will release more information on Jump Out in a future Nintendo Direct broadcast specifically for the game, according to Andriasang.

Update: Animal Crossing: Jump Out is scheduled for a North American release in the first half of 2013, according to Nintendo of America.
