The competitive tournament will allow players to compete in Halo 4 before its November 6th retail release, and MLG promised more details about schedules, prize purses, and the number of teams in the coming weeks.
Held in the Dallas Convention Center, the Championship will cap off MLG's fall season. Prior to the Championship, MLG will host three preliminary tournaments throughout September and October at the MLG studio in New York City. Games in competition also include StarCraft 2, League of Legends, Mortal Combat, and Soul Calibur 5.
Halo 4 will also be at PAX Prime this weekend, and Polygon will be there to bring you all the news that's fit to file.
