The video, embedded below, shows little more than a shiny sports car spinning its wheels, which we hope isn't a phrase that reviews will use to describe the final product. But the YouTube description for the teaser promises more details on August 8th, so Grid fans have only a few days to wait.

Codemasters' Jamie Macdonald confirmed that development was proceeding "full steam ahead" on a follow-up to Grid, known as Race Driver: Grid outside of the Americas, in a July 2010 interview with Develop.
