'LittleBigPlanet Karting' pre-order bonus adds over 900 items at the starting line

Pre-ordering "LittleBigPlanet Karting" from GameStop will unlock over 900 in-game collectibles when you first start the game.

Pre-ordering LittleBigPlanet Karting through GameStop will unlock hundreds of in-game collectibles when you start the game, the PlayStation Blog announced today.

The "Headstart Pack," exclusive to GameStop, grants access to over 900 items at startup players would otherwise have to unlock through progression. Players can utilize these karts, costumes, construction materials, and music for building tracks in 3D Create mode.

The retailer is also offering two costume-and-kart combinations with pre-orders: the United Front Games General costume and Arcade Cabinet-themed kart, and a costume that makes your SackBoy the spitting image of PlayStation spokesman Kevin Butler along, with his Executive Golf Kart.

LittleBigPlanet Karting will be showcased at PAX Prime this weekend in Seattle. In honor of the occasion PlayStation released a video, posted below, showing a Karting Game Jam from earlier this summer in which seven community members got the chance to test the game at Sony's Santa Monica studios.

LittleBigPlanet Karting is set to release on November 6th for PlayStation 3.
