‘Diamond Trust of London’ now available for Nintendo DS

Diamond Trust of London, the first player-funded Nintendo DS game, is now available to purchase.

Diamond Trust of London, the first player-funded Nintendo DS game, is now available to purchase. The game was funded by Kickstarter back in May.

Diamond Trust is the latest from Jason Rohrer, creator of Sleep is Death, Between, and Inside a Star-filled Sky. It's a strategy game that takes place in Angola, where diamond traders are scrambling to make the most of the last eight months of legal trading. Players face off against a friend or A.I. opponent as they collect, buy, and bribe their way to the biggest diamond stack.

Diamond Trust of London launched its Kickstarter on May 9th and ended on May 26th with almost $12,000 more than its original goal. The game is available now for $30, but copies are limited. At the time of this posting, only 4,510 copies remain.
