Zynga's design-your-own restaurant game, ChefVille, was released on Facebook today with a Zynga.com version coming soon.

The game was first announced in June at Zynga's annual press conference, Unleashed, and appeared to be the most feature-packed Zynga Facebook game to date.

In ChefVille, players run their own restaurant by gathering ingredients to create special dishes, socializing with friends and neighbors to acquire new ingredients and recipes, and customizing their restaurant to look like anything from an American diner to an Italian countryside restaurant.

Players will also receive real-word rewards via 'Game to Table', a system where a player is emailed real recipes that correlate with the dishes they've completed in the game. There are 50 recipes to earn at launch with more becoming available soon.

"We put our heart and soul into cooking up ChefVille for our players," said General manager of ChefVille, Jonathan Knight. "Our goal at Zynga is to create the most social games on the planet that enrich relationships with friends and family for our players.

"ChefVille brings social gaming full circle. We're giving players a chance to take a ‘snack break' from their day and connect online with friends, but also dish out real recipes that we hope serve as a catalyst for continued dining experiences with loved ones at home."

ChefVille is now available on Facebook and will come to Zynga.com soon.
