A demo for "Harry Potter for Kinect" is available today for Xbox Live Gold members.

A new demo for Harry Potter for Kinect is available today for Xbox Live Gold Members, according to a listing on the Xbox Marketplace.

Announced in late May this year by developer Eurocom, the studio behind this fall's 007 Legends, Harry Potter for Kinect squeezes all eight Harry Potter films into a single motion-controlled experience. Players can create their own witch or wizard persona by scanning their face into the game, or step into the shoes of series heroes Harry, Ron, or Hermione.

Harry Potter for Kinect is coming on October 9th and will be an Xbox 360 exclusive.
