FIFA 13 includes a new feature called "First Touch Control," and its developers at EA Canada explain what it means for the FIFA series in a recently released video.
In real-life soccer, it's rare to see a player take a perfect touch — that is, magnetically attract the ball to his foot — on every occasion. A fast pass or a lofted goal kick often bounce off players before they can gain control of the ball, and First Touch Control aims to bring that realistic imperfection into the FIFA franchise this year. The video contrasts FIFA 13 footage with a FIFA 12 clip, which makes the change apparent.
FIFA 13 will be out on September 25th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, Mac, PS Vita, 3DS, Wii, PSP, PS2, and iOS. Check out our full gameplay preview for more details on First Touch Control and the other changes coming this year.
