'Team Fortress 2' users to design Halloween-themed items for next update

Build your own Halloween-centric designs for Team Fortress 2.

Valve is calling upon players of Team Fortress 2 to create Halloween-themed items for its next game update, scheduled to hit this October, according to a recent blog post on the developer's official website.

Users can submit their designs through Steam Workshop, while those unable to design for themselves can vote for the best entries. A number of creations are already available to see and vote for on the Steam community website.

Those new to model making can take a look at Valve's FAQ for Steam Workshop, and check out the Team Fortress 2 forums to share ideas.

Last month Valve introduced its Mann vs. Machine mode update, bringing with it an army of gray robots with intentions to kill teams Red and Blu.
