The Wii U version of "Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge" will feature some updates and tweaks, including the addition of Ayane as a playable character.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, a version of Ninja Gaiden 3 updated specifically for the Nintendo Wii U console, will include series protagonist and ninjitsu master Ayane as a playable character.

Ayane will have her own single-player chapters in the game and will available in two-player online co-op alongside Ryu. The game's Chapter Challenge Mode allows players to choose and play individual chapters from both characters' storylines.

Razor's Edge will have Wii U-exclusive weapons as well as new enemy my types and a return of the dismembering combat mechanic.

Ninja Gaiden 3 was released in March for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
