These are the games hitting the day the Wii U arrives

At least 17 Wii U games are confirmed for the console's launch day, with 14 more before coming before the year is out.

Note: This list is a work in progress. We will be updating it as we receive more information.

At least 17 games will launch alongside the Wii U on November 18th, according to publishers and developers Polygon has spoken with.

Earlier this week, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said that 50 titles will be released during the console's launch window, which Nintendo defined as running from the November 18th launch date through March 31st, 2013. After speaking with developers and publishers, we were able to confirm that 17 games are planned for a November 18th release, with another nine expected to arrive in time for the holidays and six more coming "before the end of the year."

Polygon reached out to all of the companies behind the Wii U's first fifty for confirmation on these dates, but not all of them responded. The list below is everything we know so far about the first titles coming to Nintendo's new console.
