Minecon 2012 tickets sell out in two hours, Mojang looking into releasing more

Tickets for this year's Minecon, Mojang's annual Minecraft convention, are already sold out

Tickets for this year's Minecon, Mojang's annual Minecraft convention, sold out within two hours, Carl Manneh of Mojang told Polygon today.

As of this posting, Manneh confirmed that Mojang is "trying to figure out if [they] can release more tickets," so attendee-hopefuls should keep an eye on the event's official page for updates.

Minecon 2012 will take place at Disneyland Resort in Paris on November 24th and 25th.

The yearly event began in 2010 as a community-organized gathering of a little over 50 Minecraft players in Bellevue, Washington, with creator Markus "Notch" Persson in attendence. Minecraft 2011 was held in Las Vegas and hosted 4,500 attendees from 24 countries.
