'Mass Effect 3: Special Edition' on Wii U includes 'From Ashes,' 'Extended Cut,' and three multiplayer add-ons

Mass Effect 3: Special Edition for Wii U will include the "From Ashes" and "Extended Cut" add-on missions as well as three of the game's downloadable multiplayer modes.

Mass Effect 3: Special Edition for Wii U will include the "From Ashes" and "Extended Cut" add-on missions as well as three of the game's downloadable multiplayer modes, EA confirmed to Polygon today.

In addition to the "Extended" ending and additional mission and squad member included in "From Ashes", the game features the "Rebellion," "Resurgence," and "Earth" content packs, adding seven maps and a score of new weapons to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode.

Special Edition will also include the interactive comic Genesis 2, produced for the Mass Effect series by Dark Horse Comics.

Mass Effect 3: Special Edition is a Wii U launch day title in Europe. Polygon has reached out for comment on its availability in North America.
