Obsidian Kickstarter Project Eternity reaches $1.1 million goal
Project Eternity, Obsidian's Kickstarter-funded fantasy role-playing game, has achieved its goal of $1.1 million in just over 24 hours after launch with more than 26,888 backers.
Spearheaded by Chris Avellone, Tim Cain, and Josh Sawyer, Project Eternity is a PC game inspired by classic role-playing games such as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment. Polygon reported yesterday on the Kickstarter launch.
Thirty-one days remain in the campaign. Kickstarter funding will come to a close on Tuesday, October 19th at 9 p.m. EDT.
