'Batman: Arkham City' and 'Zombies, Run!' nominated for writing award
Rocksteady and Six to Start nominated for video game script category.
Developers Rocksteady, Six to Start, and Piranha Bytes are nominated for this year's UK Writers' Guild Awards 2012 in the Best Video Game Script category.
Rocksteady's Paul Crocker is nominated for his work on Batman: Arkham City, Naomi Alderman is nominated for the narrative fitness app Zombies, Run!, and Gordon Rennie, Alan Barnes, and Emma Beeby are nominated for Risen 2.
Winners will be announced on November 13th at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill.
Last year saw Alex Garland and Tameem Antoniades win for the script behind Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
The Writers' Guild of Great Britain is the trade union representing writers throughout television, radio, theatre, books, poetry, film, online, and video games. The full list of nominees is available on its official website.
