Upcoming role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei 4 will take players through ancient crumbling castles and sprawling skyscraper-stuffed modern cities as they engage in combat against the supernatural, as shown in the game's second trailer released by developer Atlus today.
Announced in Famitsu magazine late last May, the fourth numbered entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series will feature series' staple first-person turn-based battles as well as third-person dungeon crawling. The trailer, posted below, offers a first look at combat and the chaotic world in which players will struggle for survival, as well as a brief glimpse at the characters they will encounter along the way.
An extended version of the trailer is viewable at Sega's booth during the Tokyo Game Show this weekend. In the description below the video on YouTube, Atlus also states an article on Shin Megami Tensei 4 will be featured in this week's issue of Famitsu.
Shin Megami Tensei 4 will release on Nintendo 3DS next year in Japan. There is no word yet on an international release.
