Soul Sacrifice, game designer Keiji Inafune's current project, will be released on the PlayStation Vita in Spring 2013, it was revealed at Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference today.
The co-op action game about choices, consequences, power, and sacrifice has been described as a cross between Monster Hunter and Dark Souls, and will be released in Japan and North America next year.

The PlayStation Vita in Japan is getting an app that will allow users to read manga on the device, and another app that will allow them to broadcast to Japan's Nico Nico Douga video sharing website.
The Manga Reader App allows readers to view manga in full color in a double-page spread. Users can zoom in on panels, view the manga in portrait orientation, and users will be able to purchase comics from the Sony Reader Store.
The Reader Store will open in mid-October and there will be more than 3,000 manga available at launch.

At today's Tokyo Game Show press conference, Sony announced a pair of new colors for its Vita handheld in Japan. Starting November 15th the device will be available in both "cosmic red" and "sapphire blue," bringing the total number of colors available in Japan to four. Unfortunately, there's currently no word on whether or not the new colors will make their way to the rest of the world, so for now we'll all just have to look at Japanese gamers with envy.

Japanese publishers Marvelous AQL, Bandai Namco and Tecmo Koei announced a slew of new titles for Sony's PlayStation devices at Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference today.
Marvelous AQL confirmed three new titles that are in the works for the PlayStation Vita: Valhalla Knights 3 will be available for 6,980 Yen on February 28th, 2013, Oboroge Muramasa will cost 4,980 Yen and be available on March 28th, 2013, and Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Shojotachi no Shomei will be out on February 28th, 2013.

Back at E3 Sony rebranded its Playstation Suite mobile gaming initiative to PlayStation Mobile, and the company has now announced it will begin distributing content to certified devices through the PlayStation Store on October 3rd. Aimed at Android-based smartphones and tablets, PlayStation Mobile games will be available in nine different countries at launch, including the US, UK, Japan, Canada, and France. Sony announced Cross Buy back in August, a system where players receive the PlayStation Vita version of a game for free if they buy it for their PlayStation 3.
