Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition Artorias content coming to consoles October 23rd

The "Artorias of the Abyss" content pack, released exclusively with Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC in August, is coming to the game's PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions on October 23rd for North America and the following day for Europe and Australia.

The "Artorias of the Abyss" content pack, released exclusively with Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC, is coming to Dark Souls for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 23rd for North America and the following day for Europe and Australia, reports CVG.

The content includes the boss battle with the fallen knight Artorias the Abysswalker, as well as three more boss battles, new maps, armor, weapons, spells, non-playable characters, and an enhanced online player-versus-player mode allowing players to organize battles among themselves.

Namco also said that the pack will include "additional challenging content." Pricing for the pack has not yet been announced.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition launched for PC on August 24th. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions for Prepare to Die Edition will launch on October 26th, and will be bundled with the Artorias content.
