Konami released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops today at the Tokyo Game Show, demonstrating how Metal Gear's missions have been adapted for the social connectivity of smartphones.

Social Ops is coming to iOS and Android devices through GREE, Japan's leading mobile networking company, next year. The trailer, posted below, details undertaking sneaking missions, organizing strategies using series' characters and weapons of mass destruction with the game's card system, and executing defensive attacks and offensive maneuvers in the heat of battle.

Late last week Hideo Kojima began tweeting card designs, and more information about how these cards work is expected to come out of the Tokyo Game Show this week. Polygon is on-site providing coverage of the show, so keep an eye out for more information.
