New PS3 Slim to have removable hard drive
The new PlayStation 3 Slim will have a removable hard drive just like its meatier cousins.
The new PlayStation 3 Slim will have a removable hard drive just like its meatier cousins, according to Sid Shuman, manager of social media at Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Shuman revealed the feature this afternoon via Twitter. "Yep, confirmed. You can swap out the hard drive just like older models. Blue screw and everything, you guys," he wrote.
Sony unveiled the new model earlier this week at the Tokyo Game Show. It will be available in North America September 25th, bundled with Uncharted 3 starting at $269.99. Be sure to check out our impressions of the console from the Sony booth at TGS. You can check out all our TGS coverage here.
