Final Fantasy 3 is coming to PSP through PlayStation Network on Tuesday, September 25th, Square Enix announced today.
The title is playable on the PSP and includes several new features. The graphics have been optimized for the handheld's screen and players have the option of listening to an updated soundtrack or switching over to the original game's background music. The port also features an auto-battle system that chooses attacks for you and doubles combat speed.
Final Fantasy 3 was originally released in 1990 for NES in Japan only. The game was published in North America in 2006 for Nintendo DS and has since been ported to the Wii's Virtual Console, iOS, and Android, with a version planned for release on the Ouya console as a launch title.
