CD Projekt Red, developer of the high fantasy Witcher series, will hold a press conference on October 18th, during which the studio will reveal the official title of its upcoming video game adaptation of the Cyberpunk pen-and-paper RPG franchise.

The press conference was announced on the studio's official blog, which also promises that further details about the futuristic IP will be dropped as well. Other expected announcements include information on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings OS X release, information on a "new operating system" for titles on the GOG.com distribution platform, as well as the opening of a "unique chance to get some of the greatest classic games ever made for a literally unbeatable price" on said store.

The event will be streamed live on the company's Facebook page and on GOG.com, starting at 1 p.m. ET on October 18th.
