A free demo for 2K Sports' NBA 2K13 is available now through PlayStation Network and Xbox Live for Gold Members, the developer announced today.

In the demo, players can relive last season's NBA Finals, participating in one quarter of a game between Florida's Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder. Online quick-match is available for the demo, as are Kinect voice controls on the 360 version.

The demo also gives players their first opportunity to test the new controls for dribbling, which have all been mapped to utilize the right analog stick.

NBA 2K13 is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, and PlayStation Portable on October 2nd. A Wii U version is slated to release later this year.
