'World of Tanks' update overhauls lighting and physics for a more realistic experience
The latest update for massively multiplayer online tank-battler World of Tanks overhauls the game's lightning and physics for a more realistic experience, developer Wargaming announced today.
The video below demonstrates the new realistic physics system, showing how it will change-up gameplay. Wargaming calls the update "the most important update of the year," stating the addition of realism into the game will change "how you play and what you do."
The update also includes UI and rendering optimization, adaptive camouflage, and new functions for the in-game mini-map. The USSR also received four new tank destroyers, and players can now purchase and the premium British tank Matilda Black Prince via the in-game shop.
