'Assassin's Creed 3' trailer offers a history lesson for a different revolution, 'the one that mattered'

The latest trailer for Assassin's Creed 3 gives players front-row seats to the famous Boston Tea Party of 1773, the event that sparked the American Revolution and initiated the formation of the United States.

The story of the earliest American citizens fighting to shake off oppressive British rule is a tale we are familiar with. But the trailer, posted below, offers us a different kind of lesson, one regarding a thread of history that did not make its way into our textbooks, another revolution "the one that mattered."

New assassin Connor makes his debut on October 30th, when Assassin's Creed 3 comes to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
