'Grid 2' gameplay videos go to the city and the country
Grid 2 is playable in pre-alpha form at the Eurogamer Expo this week, and developer Codemasters celebrated its public debut by releasing a couple of gameplay videos.
The first one features a duel along the Pacific Ocean in California redwood country. A modern Boss Mustang races against a classic Mustang Mach 1 on a winding coastal road, with the former trailing the latter for most of the race. The second video was captured in Chicago. Twelve American muscle cars race through the city streets; the player car starts out in last place but eventually makes his way to the front of the pack.
Grid 2 will feature locations throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, including courses in Miami, Paris, and Dubai. Check out both videos below.
Grid 2 is set for release on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 next summer.
