Battlefield 3's upcoming "Armored Kill" DLC received a video introduction today from publisher Electronic Arts highlighting the new maps, missions, and vehicles coming to the first-person shooter.
The launch trailer features the vehicles that the Battlefield games are known for, including tanks, helicopters, and ATVs. The expansion will include six new vehicles and four new maps, including "the biggest map in Battlefield history," according to the trailer.
Polygon got a peek at the "Armored Kill" DLC last month, including the chaotic new Tank Superiority mode that focuses up to 24 players on controlling a single map point.
"Armored Kill" is available today for Battlefield 3 Premium members on PlayStation 3. Premium members on Xbox 360 and PC gamers will get the DLC on September 11th, the same day that the Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, which includes all DLC to date and a Premium membership, is released. Non-Premium members can purchase the DLC on September 18th on PlayStation 3, and September 25th on Xbox 360 and PC.
You can check out the launch trailer below, which is full of mayhem amid idyllic maps like snowcapped Alborz Mountains, which received its own introductory video last week.
