Minecraft on Xbox 360 is finally getting its creation mode.

The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft will receive its Creative Mode in a matter of weeks, according to a statement developer 4J Studios' official Twitter account.

"We're still working on 1.8.2. A few things left to add, more work on the Creative Mode interface, then lots of test. Still weeks away..."

The console title, which received a 7 out of 10 from Polygon, was released last May without the mode. Its incoming update, however, is said to offer substantial changes to the game beyond simple balancing, including all new tutorial secrets.

No official release date is yet available; however, the developer promises updates when more information is on hand.
