'Call of Juarez' announcement teased by Ubisoft

Ubisoft is teasing an announcement, possibly for a new Call of Juarez, on Facebook.

Call of Juarez may be getting another installment, as Ubisoft is teasing an announcement for September 6th, according to the Call of Juarez Facebook page.

The page's cover photo was updated with the above image yesterday.

In November 2011, a player feedback survey on UPlay accounts attached to Call of Juarez: The Cartel pointed to a possible fourth series entry. Players we asked to report on the game's strengths and weaknesses as well as what type of environments they would like to play in future installments.

Ubisoft has worked with developer Techland on all three previous titles — the 2006 original Call of Juarez, Bound in Blood in 2009, and last year's The Cartel. Techland is currently working with publisher Deep Silver on Dead Island: Riptide, scheduled for 2013, and first-person hack-and-slash game Project Hell.
