The trailer, which premiered Wednesday night during the NFL season opener, is set to "Coming Home" by Diddy featuring Skylar Grey. As the song plays, a montage sets the stage for war in 1770s America, in which Assassin's Creed 3's protagonist, Connor, will play a pivotal role.

"It seems we are well and truly at war," says an unidentified Scottish narrator. "I only hope this madness is soon ended."

Assassin's Creed 3 is poised for release on October 30th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3. The PC release will follow on November 20th.
