Assassin's Creed 3 has taken the revolution to North American televisions with a new commercial that personalizes the impending American Revolution.

The trailer, which premiered Wednesday night during the NFL season opener, is set to "Coming Home" by Diddy featuring Skylar Grey. As the song plays, a montage sets the stage for war in 1770s America, in which Assassin's Creed 3's protagonist, Connor, will play a pivotal role.

"It seems we are well and truly at war," says an unidentified Scottish narrator. "I only hope this madness is soon ended."

Be sure to check out our article about the Assassin's Creed 3 panel PAX Prime last week where developers from Ubisoft discussed creating upcoming installment of the franchise, including the naval warfare and free running in trees, both of which are featured in the new video below.

Assassin's Creed 3 is poised for release on October 30th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3. The PC release will follow on November 20th.
