Capybara's rainbow-spewing arcade puzzler, Critter Crunch, will release for Steam on September 11th. It will be the game's third release.
Critter Crunch first launched as an iOS title back into 2008, before again releasing for the PlayStation Network in 2009. Players control a small creature called Biggs trying to feed his young. It's a puzzle game in a style similar to Tetris or Bejeweled; Biggs uses his tongue to shuffle critters and stuff them into the mouths of larger animals. This in turn creates chain reactions, which then drops food into his mouth.
Critter Crunch will be available on both PC and Mac for $6.99. It will include several Steamworks features, as well as online and competitive modes.
