Current subscribers to Star Wars: The Old Republic will receive a special, voted-on reward when the game goes free-to-play: The Party Jawa.
The Party Jawa, which according to BioWare won the Fan Favorite contest, "celebrates a player's status as a veteran of the galaxy," presumably by partying. Players who subscribed to the game before August 1st or have a current subscription will get the reward. After the game goes free-to-play, players will be able to choose if they'd like to continue paying the $15 montly rate; those that do will have unlimited access to content and extra Cartel Coins every month.
A date for The Old Republic's free-to-play conversion has not yet been announced, but is expected this fall.
