The third season of Twin Peaks is putting the “tease” in teaser. This short video, which was posted today on the Twin Peaks Facebook page, shows cast members old and new discussing what it was like to work on the show.
“Revisiting all this territory... there’s a freshness to it, there’s a lightness to it,” says Kyle MacLachlan, who plays FBI agent Dale Cooper. The cast list for season 3 is ridiculously long, but fans of the series will be relieved to see a lot of familiar faces here. There’s Miguel Ferrer, who is reprising his role as Albert Rosenfield, as well as Harry Goaz (Andy Brennan), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran) and Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs).
It’s the few location shots in this teaser that are really getting my attention. Aside from the quintessential foggy, tree-covered mountains and Snoqualmie Falls, there’s a shot of a decrepit concrete building.
Is this a new location tease, or just a bit of Northwest flavor? We’re going to have to wait until 2017 to find out, when Twin Peaks will start airing on Showtime.
