WB Montreal sold me with that demo they showed off at the PlayStation event yesterday. I’m not sure if Arkham Origins will be a huge improvement over Arkham City, but it looks like it’ll definitely be just as good. And that’s not a bad thing!
Embedded live blogs? Cool!
Edit: But it’s not responsive :\
Do Polygon, The Verge, and SB Nation each have their own designers/developers? Or will the Polygon design/development team also work on The Verge and SB Nation?
I’m a huge fan of all the great work you guys do. I get as excited for a new Vox Media launch as I do for a new Apple product announcement.
I’ve noticed that the gradients change when I refresh. I do prefer the lighter ones, the dark purple gradients make it a bit hard to see the image.
PS. The version history page has been updated, but the footer still reads “1.4.1”.
Looks awesome! I hope SBNation adopts some of the responsive styles you guys used here. This also makes me even more excited for the inevitable “Verge 2.0” responsive redesign :)
I’m excited for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. It looks like a nice blend between Chaos Theory and Conviction.
Where’s the ‘any’ key?!

I don’t know how I missed this, but thank you for the Batman News shout out! :) I’m a huge fan of Polygon and Vox Media in general. Having my website credited here is a huge honor!
Let my just say that I’m a huge COD fan. I’ve bought every game since COD 4 and haven’t really touched any other first person shooters. With that said… I’m not too impressed by what I see here. It looks like COD Ghosts on the Xbox One is on par with what we’ve seen in Battlefield or Crysis on high end PCs over the past couple of years.
I think something is wrong with Polygon’s video, the black bars don’t shake on Batman: Arkham Origins’ YouTube channel:
