Recommended (1)It was sad to listen to Russ’ achievement “dreams” being crushed right before him. Great discussion this week, Besties.

If that’s the case then just tell us the truth before you went and made an announcement. Microsoft had to know this issue would be a common concern among gamers so why not have one solid answer?

Recommended (8)I can just turn on my PS3 and not have to pay $50/year just to have access to Netflix. Or, you know, watch Netflix a handful of other ways that doesn’t require you to pay Microsoft for that access. I do applaud Microsoft’s marketing team for trying to make it seem like they’re doing everyone a favor by unlocking Netflix for this weekend. Sorry to everyone who hangs on Microsoft’s every word.

My apologies, I didn’t even realize there was a video in the article.

I just hope these features are discussed and shown at E3 for both the Xbox One and PS4. There is plenty nuggets of information on the new console’s features but not enough for us to know if they’re worth-while.

Is that going to be a separate article or did I miss something?

RE: Revelations sounds better than I thought. But with the T-Abyss virus mutating the dead into monsters with marine-life traits I was hoping to read more that the enemies were cool looking and that there are a vast variety of different enemies. I feel like I know what I would be getting into with RE: Revelations with Phil’s review, I may have to pick this title up.

1 replyThat is a big improvement over the 360 game case. It’s clean and the green is easier on the eyes. I’m surprised they put ‘Xbox One’ on the game case considering they didn’t even put ‘One’ on the console.

I do have a 21" monitor on my PC and I do browse with one large window, it’s just my preference. Most sites I go to don’t look odd full screen. I did check out the new layout on my laptop and I feel the new layout still feels a bit compressed with the article menu, more so than the previous article menu. I prefer the text to span more of the screen than being squeezed together.

1 reply Recommended (1)I liked the old look better. With the old look the screen expanded to my monitor and it looked great. Now with the new side article bar it squeezes everything together in the center of my screen and it leaves about 5 inches of white space on both sides of the article. With the pictures on the article bar it distracts from the text I’m trying to read in the main article. I hope this gets tweaked and improved upon. This really dampers my Polygon experience.

Xbone? That’s a thing? I can live with that. Happy birthday!

Recommended (2)With the editing capability the developers have on Achievements I hope we don’t get into a situation where one achievement is too hard for players and they start complaining to get it changed. For example, the Gears of War 3 achievement “Seriously 3.0,” people complain it’s too difficult to achieve, if Epic were to change that achievement to make it easier then what’s the point?

How long of clips will we be able to save? Does the Xbox One decide, when you say, “Xbox capture that,” how long of clip it saves? Is there a manual way to go into a multiplayer match you just had and select which clips you can save and share? There’s just so many questions surround the Xbox One’s features and not enough answers to go around yet.

Recommended (1)This is a big mistake for the Xbox One. If Microsoft wanted to make an entertainment box, they succeeded, but for gamers, this is not looking like a console you would want to buy. Yes it’s early, but it seems like PS4 has been winning the gamers over more and more.

Recommended (2)Microsoft is reminding me of EA. They have a lot of questions surrounding their decisions. Some people in the company are saying one thing and others say the other. JUST TELL US THE TRUTH. You gotta love big corporations…

The design of the Xbox One console is sleek and modern, I’m impressed. I would like to know why Xbox One isn’t on the console, instead it’s just Xbox. Even when they started up the console at the event the screen showed the Xbox logo and just Xbox, not Xbox One. As much as I hate that name, it seems like Microsoft isn’t fond of it either since it’s not visible anywhere else.
Dealing with the glowing Xbox logo on the controller, will that color change from white if there’s more than one controller on? I sure hope we don’t have to see that logo blink when half the battery is low on the controller like the annoying blinking on the 360 controller.

Arkham Origins has an Oct 25th release date? First The Last of Us is being released on a Friday and now this. Will this become a new trend?

Personally I would’ve like to see less or even remove the Detective Mode all together. I know that would never be the case because now all games have a very integrated “Detective Mode.” It just doesn’t appeal to me.

Yes that means Polyphony is adding approximately 500 more cars. But to me that means I’ll only want to drive around 10-20 of those new 500 vehicles. GT6 is sounding more and more like an expansion to GT5. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Did I miss something when you were talking about the Shadow of the Eternals Kickstarter? If Precursor Games is a Canadian company how could they start a Kickstarter because before that Griffin said Kickstarter is a US/UK deal?

Recommended (2)Yes! I’m very glad to see this change in the release date. If Killzone: Mercenary would have been released the same day as GTA V it would be DOA. Now it has a better chance of selling well.
