Sekirei is decent so far. The plot is fairly interesting and most of the characters are likeable, but it still feels too much like a fanservice show at times, which leads to the characters sometimes feeling kind of flat and underdeveloped. I think it’s starting to get better about that, so I’ll let you know if my opinion has changed after a few episodes.
What are you, rich?
In the game “Donkey Kong,” Donkey Kong was known as “Chip.” It wasn’t until Super Smash Bros. that Donkey Kong got his official name, “Diddy Kong.”
BACK IN THE DAY WE HAD TO PHONE THE PRESIDENT IF WE WANTED VIDEO GAME ADVICE
Yeah, that’s the worst part about good shows…
>play vidya for 80 years
>show 9 year old that they’re wrong
>celebrate by shooting party popper in their face
>I’m the bad guy
This is why video games are dying.
I have a problem when it comes to marathoning a series unless it’s something that really catches my attention. It’s pretty common for me to end up taking a month long break from a series without even realizing it.
ef is supposedly a pretty good show, but I’ve been having trouble watching more than an episode or two per week. I was thinking about reading the visual novels instead, but I said that about Little Busters before the anime released and haven’t touched it since.
>make decade-old joke
It’s pretty cool, so far. The protagonist is really refreshing, since he’s not another generic high school student. It’s taken me a while to watch, because it’s one of those shows that seems better when you spread it out.
Here’s everything I’m watching right now, in the event that someone would like to discuss one of them:
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W (6/12)
Hataraku Maou-sama! (8/13)
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko. (5/12)
Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san (7/13)
Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. (7/13)
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S (6/24)
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. (7/13)
ef – a tale of memories. (4/12)
Great Teacher Onizuka (16/43)
Hanasaku Iroha (9/26)
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (2/26)
Oda Nobuna no Yabou (9/12)
Shinsekai yori (5/25)
The iDOLM@STER (14/25)
The Tatami Galaxy (8/11)
To LOVE-Ru Darkness (10/12)
Lucky Star (12/24)
Man, I should really stop picking up so many shows at once…
That’s pretty odd. It would make a lot more sense for VII and IX to take place in the same timeline, since both planets are called Gaia, but I suppose the events of the two games would be difficult to link.
It seems as though Microsoft took a cue from mobile phones, where the HTC One and HTC First can be released within 3 months of each other without anyone caring.
