Translation: Please don’t buy a console, because they don’t use our graphics!
Also, I think most everyone understands in what ways a PC is a better choice for gaming, but not everybody cares.
That’s a fair question. The battery life isn’t great, but I find that it’s sufficient for a decent play session. I’ve considered going for one of the extended batteries, though.
I miss the little GI Joe figures. My brother and I had dozens of them, and we also had a bunch of the dollar store knock offs. When a good GI Joe would break (usually because the rubber band thing inside of him snapped and his legs fell off), we would perform surgery by taking a knock off and swapping parts in.
I’m really tempted to get a 2DS… I scoffed at it when it was announced, but I’ve handled one a few times now, and it’s actually a pretty nice piece of hardware. Feels well balanced. I don’t currently own a 3DS, but the software library is so compelling that I think it’s time.
Thanks! I had no idea. Somehow I’d missed him.
The video shows Jack Skellington. No mention in the article. Is he coming in a later round, or just an oversight?
Also, surprised there’s no Flynn Rider alongside Rapunzel.
There are far more than 2 exclusive games that are worth owning a Wii U for in first party titles alone. Pikmin 3 is absolutely outstanding, Super Mario 3D World is (apparently quite the platformed). Anyone who didn’t own a Wii (and therefore didn’t play New Super Mario Bros.) should pick up New Super Mario U with the New Super Luigi pack. Regardless of what any review may say, Wonderful 101 is an absolute blast. Lego City is an outstandingly fun open world game.
And there are lots of great multi-platform games that play very well on the Wii U (as well as some that would play better if developers had done more than a sloppy port).
Not interested in SSB?
I love being able to use the headphone jack to play when my kids are asleep. It’s a nice little touch. Still playing on the big screen, still enjoying the game, but not waking the kids up when things get heated.
I dunno. It’s fine on my iPad 3 and my wife’s iPhone 4. I don’t think it’s the age of the device, I think it’s the device itself. Or the browsers compatibility with the HTML5 canvas and Java stuff.
